Our land and sea traditions will also be represented in the nativity scene of the Marineria, located in via Seneca, just behind the Church of Igea, a stone's throw from Hotel Elios. “It tells us about the Nativity inspired by our traditions with the presence of the geometries of fishing nets and the characteristic Batana (traditional wooden boat.)”
Heading towards the centre of Bellaria, you can then admire the crib of the Old Slaughterhouse, in via Ferrarin, on the banks of the Uso River. The nativity scene, with statues dedicated to the maritime tradition, will be reflected directly on the water and can be admired from the road or from the pedestrian bridge!
This year, then, the city of Bellaria Igea Marina, offers its guests a new unmissable show: the ICE CRIB! It is a record-breaking ice nativity scene, the largest in Italy!!!!
Its statues, completely made of out ice, will illuminate the Isola dei Platani (Viale Paolo Guidi) and from December 8th to January 6th, it will always be open to visitors. You will find it in a very central area: Piazzetta Federico Fellini (Zona “Le Vele” Biblioteca)
